This privacy notice describes how we, Present to Succeed, will collect and use your personal data.

Personal data

Under the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) personal data is defined as:

“any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (‘data subject’); an identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person”.

1.1 Who are we?

“Present to Succeed” LLC, UIC: 206325351, having its seat and registered address at Sofia, Bulgaria, 1124, district Sredets, 60 Ivan Asen II Str., ap. 12, represented by Boris Hristov and Iva Nachkova, managers, is the company representing Present to Succeed Conference. It's core and only focus is delivering the biggest, premium yearly event for presentations skills.

Why does Present to Succeed  need to collect and store personal data?

In order for us to provide you with our presentation services we need to collect personal data for correspondence and marketing purposes. In any event, we are committed to ensuring that the information we collect and use is appropriate for this purpose and does not constitute an invasion of your privacy.

In terms of being contacted for marketing purposes Present to Succeed would contact you for additional consent.

The personal data we would like to process on you is:

  1. 1. The personal data we collect will be used for the following purposes:

  • Providing you with updates and information about our upcoming conference (newsletter subscription).

  • Answering any questions and requests sent via our contact form.

  • Analyzing information about web traffic and user engagement with the website.

  • Your consent.

  • Our legitimate interest to improve our website and its user engagement.

 

2. Consent

In cases where the processing of your personal data is not necessary for performing of contractual obligations, statutory provision, the legitimate interest of the administrator or a third party as well as for any other reason, Present to succeed may process your personal data only based on your consent. By consenting to this privacy notice you are giving us permission to process your personal data specifically for the purposes identified.

 

Consent is required for Present to succeed to process sensitive personal data, but it must be explicitly given. Where we are asking you for sensitive personal data, we will always tell you why and how the information will be used.

3. Disclosure

3.1. Present to succeed may pass on your personal data to the following third parties:

  • Cloud based platforms that we use to support our services like: MailerLite, Office 365 and others.

  • External servers and/or hosting for processing/storing data from the newsletter subscriptions and contact forms or our e-mail.

  • Analytics services that monitor and analyze web traffic and can be used to keep track of your behavior on our website: Facebook, Google.

3.2. Present to Succeed may pass on your personal data (Name, E-mail) to the Sponsors of the “Present to Succeed” Online conference with your consent. Your personal data can be shared for marketing purposes and personal offers only related to the Online Conference solely with Sponsors whose:

  • virtual booth you access.

  • session you take part in.

5. Retention period

We will keep the data received from newsletter subscription forms or contact forms until you withdraw your consent or object to the processing. Any other data will be processed and stored for as long as required by the purpose is has been collected for.

At any point while we are in possession of or processing your personal data, you, the data subject, have the following rights:

  • Right of access – you have the right to request a copy of the information that we hold about you.

  • Right of rectification – you have a right to correct data that we hold about you that is inaccurate or incomplete.

  • Right to be forgotten – in certain circumstances you can ask for the data we hold about you to be erased from our records.

  • Right to restriction of processing – where certain conditions apply to have a right to restrict the processing.

  • Right of portability – you have the right to have the data we hold about you transferred to another organization.

  • Right to object – you have the right to object to certain types of processing such as direct marketing.

  • Right to object to automated processing, including profiling – you also have the right to be subject to the legal effects of automated processing or profiling.

  • Right to judicial review: in the event that Present to Succeed refuses your request under rights of access, we will provide you with a reason as to why. You have the right to complain as outlined in article 7 below.

In the event that you wish to make a complaint about how your personal data is being processed by Present to Succeed (or third parties as described in 3.4 above), or how your complaint has been handled, you have the right to lodge a complaint directly with the supervisory authority and Present to Succeed’s data protection representatives GDPR Owner.

Our aim is not to be intrusive, and we undertake not to ask irrelevant or unnecessary questions. Moreover, the information you provide will be subject to rigorous measures and procedures to minimize the risk of unauthorized access or disclosure.

 

Can I find out the personal data that Present to Succeed holds about me?

 

Present to Succeed at your request, can confirm what information we hold about you and how it is processed. If Present to Succeed does hold personal data about you, you can request the following information:

What forms of ID will I need to provide in order to access this?

 

Present to Succeed accepts ID cards as a valid form of identification when information on your personal data is requested.
